I’d love to tell you that I have always been clued up on all life matters.

But I can’t. Because I am a work in progress. Just like you are. After all, life is a continuous learning journey.

But I do know this: the more I love myself, my awesome self, the self I am meant to be, the happier and healthier I am and the more certain I am of my life purpose. In fact, I’d say that I am now a master in finding happiness. Here’s how I got to this point:

Like so many others, I did what I thought was right. I got a good education. I got a good job. I found a good partner. Anyone looking at my life from the outside would think I had it all. But I wasn’t happy. I realised that the career I had chosen wasn’t right for me. Then I was made redundant, my father died and my relationship ended. This series of events was the catalyst I needed to do some soul searching. So I went travelling to ‘find myself’. Although travelling opened my mind and gave me some amazing experiences, it didn’t present me with an instant answer about who I was or what I should do next.

Sound Familiar?

I vaguely knew I wanted to help people, so I retrained and shifted from accounting to education.

I found work as a law lecturer and was a successful tutor. My students got great results. But being good at something and being passionate about something aren’t the same things. I still felt as though I hadn’t found my thing.

During this time, I started to blog about how to find happiness, sharing my own real life experiences and personal journey. I wanted to help other people to feel more confident and to believe in themselves, to love who they are, even if they’re not the finished object or what society expects them to be. My blog posts and articles led to speaking engagements, one-on-one confidence coaching, a successful podcast and getting my book Be Happy published.

I was beginning to feel closer to finding my purpose and passion

Love.Happy.Body is the next step in my journey to happiness.

I am taking all of my life experience and learnings so far to create courses and books to help you find your way. I am not a guru. I don’t have a magic wand. Only you can find your magic. But I am here to help. I keep it real, grounded and authentic.

Every single one of us is awesome in our own unique way. I want to help you realise that. This is about you learning to love your true self. It’s about being healthy. But mostly, it’s about being happy.

I first met Sophia Husbands just over a year ago, at a business meeting for new upcoming entrepreneurs.  Once I was introduced to her I was instantly impressed   by her knowledge, advice and candour, and gained a lot of insight about how to start up a new business and how to use the Internet and various media to my advantage.

After the meeting we agreed to keep in touch and since then we have had regular chats and updates about each other. The most telling thing about Sophia is her ability to put one at ease. I was impressed by her positive attitude and endless go getter spirit.  She is always upbeat and patient and I have seen her success grow. She is always innovative and full of ideas and is not afraid to face new challenges and is always proactive.

In my conversations with friends and family, I often find myself quoting her intelligent and well thought out meme from SophiaWorld and other projects.  She is always proactive and is boundless with creative energy and new ideas, and I look forward to seeing more of her work in the future
